Downtown Street Mural

The city of Denver sought artist Pat Milbery to revitalize a street in Civic Center Park on Bannock St, directly in front of City Hall.
As Pat Milbery's graphic designer for this initiative, I crafted the digital designs, developed mock-up images for city approval, and detailed the design measurements to streamline the painting process.

A Mural Under Your Feet

This project involved designing a vibrant and interactive mural for a public space, transforming the ground into a visually striking artwork.

The design aimed to engage pedestrians by turning the street surface into a canvas that captures attention and sparks curiosity. Various elements were spread across the street, inviting users to position themselves in different locations for unique photographs against the mural and city backdrops.

Through detailed planning and precise execution, the mural not only enhanced the aesthetic appeal of the area but also encouraged community interaction and enjoyment.

Color Down the Street

This mural project infused vibrancy and energy into the urban environment by transforming an ordinary street into a canvas of color. The design features a dynamic array of hues and patterns that extend down the length of the street, creating a visual journey that captures attention and brightens the surroundings.

By incorporating a spectrum of colors and fluid designs, the mural revitalizes the area, turning it into an engaging and cheerful space. The artwork not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of the street but also invites pedestrians to experience the street as an interactive, colorful path that enhances community spirit and enjoyment.

Flow from the Park to City Hall

This mural project bridges the space between the park and City Hall, creating a seamless visual flow that connects these two iconic landmarks. The design integrates elements that guide the eye and movement from the lush greenery of the park to the stately architecture of City Hall, using dynamic patterns and colors to create a sense of continuity.

The mural was crafted to enhance the pedestrian experience, making the transition between these spaces visually engaging and cohesive. By incorporating elements that reflect the character and culture of Denver, the artwork not only beautifies the area but also fosters a deeper connection between the community and their surroundings.
