For the Open Hearts Collection at Zeal Optics, I designed each pair of sunglasses digitally, adhering to the specifications of the Windsor and Crowley styles. The process began with a detailed analysis of each frame’s structure and dimensions to ensure that the creative artwork flowed well into the design, while keeping the sunglasses looking creative, yet, modern and clean on the outside.

I created digital mock-ups to explore and refine the final design, creating a design that reflect the collection’s vibrant and positive spirit of the collaborating artist, Pat Milbery. The user takes in the beauty of the inside artwork when putting on the sunglasses and reflects that beauty out as they wear the sunglasses, ensuring a harmonious balance between aesthetic appeal and functionality.

The final digital designs were presented with high-resolution renderings, highlighting the unique features and visual impact of each colorway. This approach not only ensured precision in translating the designs to physical products but also maintained the integrity and style of the Open Hearts Collection.
