ThisSongIsSick is a popular music blog within the festival and electronic music scene. They got their start sharing songs and playlist on Soundcloud and have since focused their efforts to Spotify.
I create designs for the playlist covers that are consistent and inline with the vision of the brand.

ThisSongIsSick - Spotify Playlists
It was an honor to put together this cover for ThisSongIsSick's continuously growing playlist. This is their largest followed playlist on Spotify with about 30K listeners.
For this cover update, the team wanted something clean yet would stand out on a small screen. A cover that has a more modern design trend than their previous graphic. This was a great opportunity to get a little more creative in which I repeated the title and gave it a subtle twist effect to infer the vibes are endless.
For this brand new playlist, TSIS was looking for a graphic for this bass / dubstep focused playlist, described as "A relentless assault of otherworldly bass music".
While wanting to keep something consistent from the endless vibes design, I again repeated the title and added another warp effect. The warp effect plays into a UFO shape which correlates with the vibe of the playlist. Similarly, I was able to use the same repeated technique to build alien-like tentacles around the title.
The Remedy is a series of playlist presented by Thissongissick. Each week we feature a playlist curated by the artist of that week. That artist puts together of playlist of the current sounds they are inspired by and shares it with their fans via TSIS's Spotify platform and blog.
